Scientific Name: Phenazepam
Classification: Depressant (Benzodiazepine)
Effects: Phenazepam is a long-acting benzodiazepine that produces typical depressant effects like coordination loss, memory impairment, sedation and intoxication. Unlike many other benzos, phenazepam causes memory/judgment impairment without full-on sedation, allowing the user to remain in a lucid state while under the influence.
Health Risks: While overdose is uncommon with benzodiazepines alone, combining phenazepam with other depressants like alcohol or opiates greatly increases the risk of death by overdose. Temporary amnesia and impaired judgment may lead to dangerous situations in which self-injury may be more likely to occur.
